Ben Wyvis with Fairburn
Ben Wyvis is one of the 282 Scottish Munro’s, located north-west of Dingwall in the Easter Ross area of north Scotland. The mountain is prominent in views of the local area, towering above the farmland of Strathconon. The mountain stands over 1,046 metres, which is 3,432 ft.
Ben Wyvis is designated as a National Nature Reserve, a special protection area, a special area of conservation and of scientific interest as it remains an important habitat for several species of plants and birds.
The Route
The ascent to the plateau of Ben Wyvis is a good walk in summer conditions and on clear days provide amazing views of the local area.
