Accommodation
The Team at Fairburn Activity Centre have been welcoming guests to our accommodation for over 20 years. Based in the beautiful remote surroundings of Fairburn Estate in the North of Scotland it provides the ideal location for a relaxing break, activity holiday, business event or family celebration. It is also in a great position for day trips to explore much of what the Highlands have to offer including Loch Ness & the Great Glen, Easter & Wester Ross, Skye and north to Sutherland and beyond.
We have 14 en-suite rooms (doubles, twins & family rooms) based within our converted Victorian Stable block and two glamping pods (a double & twin) outside in the trees for those who are after something a bit different! On our lower level we have disabled access rooms with showers. On our upper floor there is a combination of rooms with baths and showers. All rooms within the main building have a flat screen TV.
A continental breakfast is served to all guests which includes a choice of cereals, porridge, fresh fruit, yogurts, croissants and toast plus freshly brewed coffee, tea and fruit juice. Breakfast is served 8.30am – 10.30 am.
Guests have access to our dining room during their stay which contains a microwave and fridge to allow simple meals to be prepared. Plates and cutlery are included. A BBQ is also available in the courtyard. We are also happy to give some ideas for local restaurants and takeaways which are only a short drive away.
We have mountain bikes which guests can use for free during their stay subject to availability. Our knowledgeable staff are always happy to provide some ideas on where to go! We can also give you some maps and information on local walks should you wish to explore the local countryside. Guided walks and biking trips are also available if you would prefer.
We are happy to accept well behaved dogs at the centre for a charge of £25 (payable on arrival). Maximum of 2 dogs per room. Dog beds and bowls are available if you are unable to bring your own. To see our dog policy please click here.
