Canoeing at Fairburn
Canoeing is a great way to explore the Scottish terrain and take in the scenery from the water, whilst staying relatively dry.
We have access to a large pond that is ideal for children, young people and families. Our instructors will introduce you to the basics of paddling and controlling your canoe. Once you have mastered these skills, you will have free time to explore the limits of your canoe and we have some fun with water based games.
OFF SITE CANOEING
Scotland has some of the best paddling, that the UK has to offer! We can provide various trips throughout the Highlands, whether you want to meander along a slow flowing river or tackle something a little faster we have it here. Along the way your guide will teach you the skills needed to flow through white water.
Our river trips will take you closer to large birds of prey, such as ospreys, as they regularly come to fish on the lochs and rivers. Some of the rivers we paddle are River Conon and River Beauly.
As well as paddling down rivers, we are surrounded by lochs that are within a short distance from the centre. A local favourite is Loch Achilty.
Already have some paddling skills? Then try one of our improver days or gain a paddling qualifications.
